Replacement of Cabin Air Filter

Model: Toyota Prius MK 1 - Years 2004-2009

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, just behind the glove compartment. To access the filter housing, open the glove compartment door and press on the sides to retract the end stop pins and fully tilt it down. Once you reach the air duct, remove the cover of the filter housing, extract the filter, and eliminate any dirt residue present. Then, insert the new filter (activated carbon type is recommended), orienting it according to the direction of the airflow, and reassemble the cover and glove compartment door.
