How to Remove the Steering Wheel from a Rav 4

Want to remove the steering wheel from the car? Let's see how to disassemble the steering wheel on a Rav 4. Before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the airbag. Insert a screwdriver into the steering wheel cover. Once the airbag securing screws (driver's side) are unscrewed, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the central bolt that secures the steering to the column (remove the steering at the end of disassembly). Fit the new steering wheel onto the column, and tighten the securing bolts. Reconnect the power connectors and secure the airbag with the screws. Test the steering wheel's operation.
