Replacing Gear Knob on Toyota Rav 4

Model: Toyota Rav 4 Xa50, MK 5 - Years 2019-2026

Lower the gear gaiter at the junction with the knob. At this point, you will be able to extract the small metal clip using a small flat-head screwdriver or any pointed tool. That's it! This will allow you to remove the gear knob, as it is held in place only by that small metal clip just removed. Once done, if you want to remove the gaiter as well, you can do so easily: just pull the entire plate to which it is attached and remove it from the gear lever. For reassembly, proceed in reverse order.
