Before you can start, open the boot of your Toyota Auris. Begin by unscrewing and removing the screws that secure the side cover near the rear light, then remove the cover itself. After this, disconnect the electrical connector that powers the rear light. At this point, unscrew and remove the screws that secure the light, then pull it out from its housing. Once you have completed this step, you can remove the light, and you will have finished the disassembly.
