How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Toyota Yaris

Before starting, open the rear doors of your Toyota Yaris. Begin by unclipping and removing the covers of the fixing bolts for the rear seat bench, then unscrew and remove the underlying bolts. Next, unclip and remove the rear seat bench itself, and you will reach the upper cover of the fuel pump. Proceed by unclipping and removing the cover, then disconnect the electrical connector. At this point, disconnect the hoses connected to the fuel pump, and then unscrew the securing ring. Once you have completed this last step, you can extract the pump from its housing, and the removal will be finished.
