How to Remove the Fuel Pump from a Toyota Yaris

Before you begin, open the rear doors of your Toyota Yaris. Start by prising off and removing the covers of the bolts securing the rear seat bench, then unscrew and remove the underlying bolts. Next, detach and remove the rear seat bench itself. This will give you access to the top cover of the fuel pump, which you need to unclip and remove, then disconnect the corresponding electrical connector. Proceed to disconnect the hoses attached to the pump, then unscrew the retaining ring. At this point, you can extract the pump from its housing, successfully completing the disassembly.
