First remove the gear knob by simply unscrewing it. Peel off all the plastic around the gear lever by prying it up from underneath. Now remove the remaining plastic of the central tunnel by lifting it from the rear and, again, disconnect the connectors of the buttons. As you can see, this is a very simple operation within everyone's reach, which does not require special tools. Proceed backwards for assembly.
