The battery in the Toyota Yaris Hybrid is located inside the cabin, specifically just under the rear passenger seats. To access it, you need to remove the rear seats by lifting them from the front and disengaging the hooks located at the bottom of the backrest.

To remove the battery from its housing, disconnect the terminals attached to it and remove the bolts securing the mounting bracket. Once the replacement is done, you can secure the battery back in place, reconnect it, and reinstall the rear seats.
