Removing Your Car Radio

Model: Toyota Land Cruiser MK 8, J90 - Years 1996-2002

Removing the car radio is a fairly simple operation. For this task, you need to use a plastic lever to avoid damaging the bodywork. Leverage the sides of the climate control and radio panel to release the plastic clips and remove it. This way, you can access the screws to which the radio is connected. By unscrewing the screws, you can completely remove the radio from its housing. When removing the radio, disconnect the connectors located at the back of it. By following the reverse operations, you can then connect the new radio and insert it into its housing.
