How to Replace the Tail Lights on the Toyota Tacoma with LED Bulbs [USA]

To install a new rear light assembly with LED bulbs, proceed as follows: Open the tailgate. On the inner side of the light, there are three 10 mm nuts that need to be removed with a screwdriver or power drill. Pull the light assembly towards you and remove it from its housing. On the back of the light, locate the three bulbs and unscrew them by turning each bulb a half turn. Disconnect the three bulbs from their sockets. At this point, take the new light assembly and connect each of the connectors from the new light to the vehicle's bulb connectors (make sure they fit correctly). Reposition the light assembly in its housing, being careful not to pinch the wires. Finally, reinstall the three 10 mm nuts.
