How to change the key battery on a Toyota Tacoma

Need to replace the battery in the remote key for this vehicle? Follow the instructions below and check out the video as well. To proceed, you will need a small screwdriver to pry open and detach the back cover of the remote. Under it, you will find the slot where the battery is housed. Always use the pointed object to pry it out and replace it with the new one, ensuring the polarity is correct (positive terminal facing outward). Then, reposition the cover and snap it back into place.
