If the oil light on your Toyota 4Runner stays on even after changing the fluid and filter, don’t worry because this is completely normal and can be resolved by following this manual reset procedure. First, ensure the car is off, then press the "Engine Start/Stop" button twice in quick succession. Press the button located below the speedometer multiple times until you see "Trip A" on the mini display. At this point, turn off the ignition. Hold down the same button used earlier and turn the ignition back on. Once the reset is complete, release the button.
