To replace the diesel filter on the Toyota Rav 4, open the bonnet and access the engine compartment to detach the plastic cover on the top of the engine bay. This will allow you to disconnect the air filter box from its pipes; it will also need to be removed from its housing by loosening its fixing bolts.

After removal, you can access the diesel filter, which is located at the bottom.

By disconnecting its connectors and unscrewing its bolts, you can remove the filter and replace it with a new spare part.
