In this tutorial, see how to replace the battery in the Toyota Prius, a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, ensure the key is not inserted to operate safely. Start by opening the boot lid, then remove both the floor panel and the basket. Once done, remove the cover from the right wall to gain access to the battery. To remove it, undo the two bolts of the upper mounting bracket, disconnect the negative terminal by loosening the corresponding nut, and finally the positive terminal. Follow the exact reverse procedure to fit the replacement.
