In this tutorial we can see how to replace the battery in the Toyota Prius, very simple and fast operation. Before proceeding, make sure that the key is not inserted in order to operate safely. We start by opening the trunk lid, after which we remove both the bottom panel and the basket. Once this is done, we remove the right wall cover thus gaining access to the battery. To disassemble it, unscrew the two bolts of the upper fixing bracket, disconnect the negative terminal by loosening the relative nut and finally the positive. We follow exactly the reverse procedure to assemble the replacement.
