Once the vehicle is on the lift, remove the rear wheel and then the drum: use a pin as a puller. At this point, immediately check for any oil leaks from the wheel cylinder of the shoes; then assess the thickness of the friction material on the shoe support: it should have a uniform minimum thickness across the entire shoe and must not show grooves or scratches; the inside of the drum should also be smooth and uniform.

In any case, it is advisable to sand both the drum and the shoes with fine-grit sandpaper before reassembling.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat.
