How to Reset the Oil Light on Your Toyota 4Runner

To eliminate the maintenance warning light without directly intervening on the vehicle, you must manually reset the light. First, turn on the ignition of your Toyota 4Runner and locate the small button below the speedometer. Rotate it to navigate through the menu and find the vehicle maintenance option. At this point, turn off the ignition and press and hold the same button used earlier. While holding it, turn the ignition back on. The reset is complete, and the light should disappear permanently.
