In today's video, we will see how to deactivate the electronic stability control system, or ESP, in the third generation Toyota Rav 4. As there is no dedicated button, the operation may be more complicated than in other cars. Here is the illustrated procedure: Start the engine without pressing the brake. Now pull the handbrake and then press the brake pedal twice. Now release the handbrake lever. Hold the brake pedal down and pull and release the handbrake twice. Release the brake and then pull the handbrake again. The warning light should now appear on the instrument panel.
