How to Replace the Lambda Sensor in the Toyota RAV4?

As seen in this tutorial, replacing the lambda sensor in the Toyota RAV4 is a very simple and quick operation. Before proceeding, wait for the engine to cool completely. Start by opening the bonnet, then locate the sensor on the front side of the engine, right on the exhaust manifold. Next, disconnect the connector, unscrew the sensor using a 22 mm spanner if possible, or a standard spanner if not, and remove it from the hole. To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure. If the sensor is difficult to unscrew, apply some penetrating spray and let it sit for a few minutes.
