The procedure to replace the battery in the remote key of a Toyota Corolla requires a few simple steps. Before you begin, ensure you have the necessary materials, namely a flat CR 2032 battery (3V) and a small flathead screwdriver. Take the remote key for your car and first extract the metal key from inside: to do this, you need to press the lever located on the top edge of the casing and then pull the key outwards. Next, insert the tip of the key into the notch on the top edge of the remote and lever it open; take the screwdriver and use its tip to pry around the edges of the battery to remove it, then proceed to replace it.
