As we can see in this tutorial, replacing the wiper blades on the Toyota Avensis is an extremely simple and quick operation. Starting with the front wiper, lift it into an upright position, and while pressing the small central button, pull the blade upwards until it disengages from the arm. Once this is done, insert the replacement into the housing; it will lock automatically. For the rear blade, tilt it 90 degrees first and then pull it towards you to disengage the pin from the joint.
