How to Open the Bonnet of the Toyota Corolla Mk2

This guide shows how to open the engine compartment of the Toyota Corolla Mk2. The first step is to go to the driver's side to operate the release lever for the bonnet lock. At this point, the bonnet will lift a few centimetres, allowing you to insert your hand into the gap to the right of the manufacturer's logo. Press the small lever that is visible to fully release the bonnet. Once open, secure the bonnet in the open position using the special hook located on the left side of the vehicle, which needs to be inserted into the hole on the lower panel of the bonnet.
