Replacement of Exhaust Pipe Gasket

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005

The gasket at the flange joint between the pipe coming from the exhaust manifold and the first silencer tends to wear out due to the stresses at this junction. To confirm this, the fixing bolts of the two flanges have springs to provide greater flexibility at the joint. To replace the gasket, unscrew the fixing bolts of the flanged connection, remove any remnants of the old gasket, and insert the new one with the conical side facing upwards. Finally, screw in the bolts with the corresponding springs.
