Toyota Yaris - Video tutorial

Model: Toyota Yaris Xp10 - Years 1999-2005
Part: Muffler
Operation: Replacement of the exhaust pipe gasket

The gasket present in the junction flange between the pipe that comes from the exhaust manifold and that of the first silencer of the muffler tends to wear out as a lot of stresses are generated at this junction: confirming this the fixing pins of the two flanges have springs in order to give greater elasticity to the joint itself. To replace the gasket, unscrew the fixing pins of the flanged connection, remove any residues of the old gasket and insert the new one with the taper facing upwards; finally screw the pins with the relative springs.

How do you open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5?

In order to open the fuel flap of the Volkswagen Golf 5, you need to press the appropriate button inside the passenger compartment, which is located in the rear part of the glove box on the driver's door. By pressing the button, the flap will unlock and it will then be possible to open it manually. Once the flap has been opened, the fuel tank access cap must be unscrewed. To close everything again, it will be sufficient to screw the tank cap again; subsequently, the flap must also be closed, pressing it so that it fits thanks to its locking mechanism.
