First, locate the small screw at the base of the mirror, then unscrew it using a Torx wrench. Next, grasp the arm, pull it toward the rear of the vehicle, and separate it from the base. At this point, simply insert the replacement, snap it into place, and secure it by tightening the corresponding screw. If your replacement already has a base, it should be removed if you intend to use the original one.
