To quickly and correctly replace the exhausted battery in your Toyota Yaris key, you will only need a simple flathead screwdriver. Let’s go through the steps. First, insert the tip of the screwdriver into the thin slot on the edge of the cover and gently pry it open by pushing outward. Next, remove the battery holder located just underneath and open it as well. Finally, take out the old battery, replace it with a new one (model CR2016), and reassemble everything.
