DIY Brake Pad Replacement

Here is a simple guide showing you how to perform this maintenance task on your car quickly and only spending on replacement parts.
To start, lift the car, secure it, and proceed to remove the wheel. Remember to loosen the bolts while the car is still on the ground.
Next, open the brake caliper by removing the bolts at the back with a 14 mm spanner.
Now that you have access to the pads, replace them as shown in the video and reassemble everything.

The video demonstrates the process on a 2007 Toyota Yaris, but the procedure is similar for other vehicles with disc brakes.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
