In this video, see how to remedy a problem that can occur on the Toyota Aygo, as well as the Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107: the gear lever becomes loose, and although the gears engage properly, it feels uncomfortable while driving as if you have lost control of the vehicle. However, it can be easily fixed: just pull up the gaiter and after applying a bit of lubricant to the mechanism, tighten the four screws around the gear lever. Be careful not to over-tighten to maintain comfortable handling, and then replace the gaiter. Job done.
