Follow these simple steps to disassemble and replace the battery of the Toyota RAV 4 remote. First, take your remote and start by removing the plastic cover found on the back by prying the sides with something thin.

Next, remove the battery inside, as shown in the video. Now install the new battery of the correct type (in this case, a CR 2032 3V); insert it the right way round and refit the plastic back cover of the remote!
