In this video, we will see how to fix an issue with the headlight switch lever on the 2004 Toyota Corolla. If the dipped beam does not work, you will need to disassemble the lever assembly, as the copper connector inside may be dirty or loose. It will be quite simple to clean it with a cotton bud and any gentle spray cleaner; a baby wipe will also do. If it is loose, you should gently bend it to avoid damaging it. If dirt has accumulated in the small screw, you can very carefully use something sharp to clean it. Then, reassemble everything and it will work.
