How to disassemble the EGR valve in the Toyota Corolla?

In this tutorial, we can see how to replace the EGR valve in the Toyota Corolla, a very simple and quick operation. First of all, make sure that the engine is cold enough, then open the hood and locate the valve in question located on the left side of the engine. Then disconnect the power connector by unlocking the clip, unscrew the two fixing screws using a cross-tip screwdriver, and remove the plastic cover. At this point, we can remove the valve, insert the replacement, and reassemble everything following the reverse procedure.
