In this video, you can see where the fuel pump is located in the Toyota RAV4 and how to proceed if you need to replace it, a very simple operation. As shown, the pump is located on the upper side of the tank, just beneath the rear seat.

To access it and then remove it, first disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, then open the left rear door and lift the seat base. Next, open the indicated flap, disconnect both the power connector and the fuel pipes, and unscrew the fixing bolts along the perimeter.

At this point, simply extract the pump from the tank and fit the replacement if necessary.
