In this tutorial, you can see how to replace the fuel pump in the Toyota RAV4, a very simple operation. First, ensure that the key is not inserted to operate safely, then lower the left rear seatback and fold it completely. Next, lift the carpet, open the large cap, and disconnect both the power connector and the fuel hose. At this point, you can unscrew all the bolts around the perimeter of the pump, remove it from the tank, and fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure.
