For the replacement of the battery of the 2006 Toyota Rav4, we need to open the front hood and remove the bracket, using a combination wrench. Immediately after, we proceed with the removal of the battery. First, we disconnect the negative terminal using a 13 mm wrench and then the positive terminal. To disconnect the positive terminal, we must first lift the red plastic cover. We then remove the battery from its housing and clean the inside of the terminals from oxidation using sandpaper. Now we move on to the insertion of the new battery, first connecting the positive terminal and closing the red cover, then connecting the negative terminal, and finally reattaching the bracket.
