How do you open glued headlights

If we have a stuck headlight that we can't open, this is a practical and economical system: we need a sturdy cardboard box in which to make a hole, with an opening to place a hairdryer with good power. To avoid air leakage, we put an old blanket on top, so that the heat remains inside as much as possible. We heat the headlight for at least fifteen minutes, and then with a small screwdriver, we go around the perimeter of the headlight to separate the transparent part from the base. If it hasn't come off well, repeat the operation, or insist directly with the hairdryer on the parts that have not detached. We recommend patience, it requires a lot of delicacy.
