In this video we can see how to correctly take measurements for the correct installation of spacers on the wheels of our car. In fact, the space available between the wheel and the body projection must be calculated accurately, because the wheel must not protrude outside the silhouette of the car, if we want to stay within the limits prescribed by the law. We must use a string with a weight, which descends straight from the edge of the body; then with a caliper set to zero, we measure how much space we have available to reach the body line. In the case of the video, we have 14 mm available, so we will need to consider a 12 mm spacer.
