In this video we can see what absolutely NOT to do when the internal ceiling of a car comes off from its support. What sticks to the roof is a very thin fabric, paired with an equally thin sponge.

If we try to reattach it with two-component glue or worse still with silicone, we get what we see in the video. The two-component glue causes these stains that look like mold, while the silicone clumps up, creating an even more disgusting effect.

So what is the solution? The solution is to remove the headliner and then remove the fabric first and then, with a scraper, carefully remove all the sponge and glue the new paired fabric with a specific glue for upholsterers. It is not an easy job at all, but it is the only way to go.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?

To remove the rear seat of a Hyundai Tucson, follow these steps. Start by moving the front seats to their most forward position to gain space. Next, locate the release lever on the underside of the rear seat, near the floor. Press this lever down while pulling the seat upwards to unlock it from the anchor pins. Once unlocked, tilt the seat upwards and forwards to remove it from its position. Repeat this process for both sides of the rear seat. Be careful of any electrical cables or components that may be connected to the seat during removal. Once the rear seat is removed, the disassembly is complete.
