The timing belt of our vehicle is a fundamental element for the proper functioning of all engine components, in fact the well-being of the timing belt is also the well-being of elements such as the water pump and the crankshaft. When purchasing a used car, it is very important to check the timing belt, and to do so it is best to rely on an authorized center, as it is not easy to know its position or, even if indicated in the instruction manual, it is difficult to independently check if the belt has been recently replaced or not. Some signs of belt wear are cracks on the belt itself, while other signs are oil leaks and noise.
