How to replace the battery of the key for Citroen and Peugeot vehicles

The remote controls of Peugeot and Citroen vehicles are very similar, so the replacement of the key battery follows the same procedure. We start by removing the top part of the remote control where the metal key, called emergency key, is inserted. Immediately after, we insert the key into the top end to open the remote control. We remove the cover and proceed to replace the battery. We close the remote control and finish by inserting the top part inside. All that's left is to go near the vehicle to test the key's functionality.
