In this video we will see how to test the functionality of our remote control, simply using the radio of our phone. Many remote controls have a small diode that lets us see if the remote control is working; but for those that do not have this function, we can show a method to test its operation. We take our smartphone and put on the headphones; in fact, we will need to turn on the radio but we should not hear it playing. We turn on the radio app and try to find an empty station, but it is also fine if it is transmitting, as long as we do not hear it (that's why we put on the headphones). Now we put the remote control near the phone, tuned to this radio station, and press the button; if the remote control is working correctly, we should hear a change in the sound of the station.
