What to do if the sunroof of our car is leaking water

In this video we can see how to solve water leaks from the sunroof of a car. Very often this issue can be solved with good maintenance, as the main cause of leaks are usually clogged drainage tubes that run towards the four corners of the roof, which can be blocked by leaves, dirt or sediment: the water does not drain and overflows inside the car. First, we identify the slots at the four corners of the roof, which are often hidden under a grille. We will need a small diameter flexible tube, a cable for blunt valves, a syringe filled with water. An air compressor with a blow nozzle would be very useful. Pour some water into one of the front drainage holes; if the water drains quickly, the tube is clear, otherwise it is blocked. Insert the tube into the drainage hole very gently - they are soft tubes and if too much force is used they could break - and move it back and forth to gently remove the material blocking the passage. In the video, it is done with compressed air, but we must be careful not to use excessive pressure that can cause the drainage tube to burst or detach. Sometimes, however, it is necessary to access the tube directly through the car's lining, as shown in the video.
