How to disassemble and reassemble VDO TG1D tire pressure sensors

In this video we can see how to disassemble and reassemble the VDO TG1D tire pressure sensors: we need to press and hold the sensor clip with a suitable tool and then remove the sensor from the valve stem, then the rubber valve must be removed with a circular motion of a sharp blade, and removed from the inside of the rim with an extractor. At the time of insertion, pay attention to the production date of the valve, which cannot be more than two years old. The date is understood by the number indicated 1424 as in the example means 14 year of production, 24th week of 2014. The sensor must be mounted disassembled, and moistened with a specific fluid, which gives us five minutes to proceed with the assembly. Insert the rubber valve and screw in the thread: the notches on the stem must be facing towards the inside of the wheel, then push the sensor onto the valve stem until it clicks.
