How does the car air conditioning system work?

We all know well what an air conditioner in a car is for: to cool the cabin during very hot external temperatures, in short, in the summer. Its principle of operation is essentially this: when we turn on the air conditioner, the compressor compresses, as the word itself suggests, the refrigerant gas and sends it to the condenser, which transforms the gas into liquid by exchanging heat with the outside. Then everything passes to the expansion valve, which reduces its temperature, and finally the evaporator will take care of releasing cool air into the cabin, completing the cycle.
