In this video, we see how to remedy the problem of opening the hatch of a Ligier JS50/JS60: It is not necessarily a problem with the lock, but a thermal fuse located in the hatch. This lock can be unlocked from the inside with a small screwdriver: there is indeed a small opening in the lock, where we can insert the screwdriver and unlock the lock. The fuse we were talking about is hidden near the rear wiper motor. We reach it by removing the clips that hold the cover. This component is no longer installed in the newer versions, so we can remove it and join the two wires, putting on a small protective terminal. With this removed, we know that the problem comes directly from the door motor.
