In this video, you will learn how to interpret, repair, and reset the DPF warning light: if the light is a steady amber, the DPF is 45% to 85% full, and the car is requesting an active regeneration. This is not an emergency, but you need to address it by attempting a regeneration while driving.

If the light is amber and flashing, the DPF is over 85% full, and regeneration must be immediate. If it does not turn off, a technical intervention is required.

If the light is red (or the engine light is on as well), the DPF is completely blocked, and the power limiter is activated. You must stop and call for a tow. DIY regeneration is done by driving for 20 to 30 minutes on the motorway at 2,500 to 3,000 RPM, with the engine already warm.

How to Remove the Toll Tag Holder from the Car Windscreen
