How to Repair and Reset the Diesel Particulate Filter Warning Light

In this video, you will learn how to interpret, repair, and reset the DPF warning light: if the light is a steady amber, the DPF is 45% to 85% full, and the car is requesting an active regeneration. This is not an emergency, but you need to address it by attempting a regeneration while driving. If the light is amber and flashing, the DPF is over 85% full, and regeneration must be immediate. If it does not turn off, a technical intervention is required. If the light is red (or the engine light is on as well), the DPF is completely blocked, and the power limiter is activated. You must stop and call for a tow. DIY regeneration is done by driving for 20 to 30 minutes on the motorway at 2,500 to 3,000 RPM, with the engine already warm.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
