Today we will see the main steps to be able to disassemble and replace the valve seals of a cylinder head. The operation is not very simple and requires a lot of patience and attention (and a minimum of experience). We see that first of all we have to extract our valves from the head: to do this we use a special extractor that we will need to leverage and remove them. At this point we can remove the valve seals with pliers, taking care not to damage the valve seats. Once replaced, we go to reassemble everything with the reverse procedure, first lubricating all the components.

How to set the clock on the Yamaha Xmax 300
