Want to remove the car sunroof panel? Disassemble the roof panel to replace the damaged lining? Let's look at the disassembly process. Remove the sun visors and the overhead lighting unit located in the panel. Unscrew and remove the side handles of the headlining with a screwdriver. Remove the plastic trim of the pillars. If the car has a sunroof, open it before removing the panel. Detach the headlining panel around the perimeter of the car roof. Once the panel is free from clips, you can pull it out of the vehicle. Be careful when pulling it out as it may break. Cover the panel with the new fabric and reinstall it in the vehicle.
