How to replace the diesel filter on a 1.5 dCi engine? Let's see how to remove the diesel filter from inside the engine bay. Lift the front bonnet of the car, unscrew the retaining bolts located near the diesel filter container. Once the worn filter is removed, take it out from inside the filter container (replace it with a new filter). Finally, refit the filter into the attached container of the diesel filter (cover the container with the cap), connect the electrical terminals and the circulation hoses. Close the engine bay with the front bonnet. Start the vehicle after reassembly.
