Removing Car Spark Plugs

Want to remove the spark plugs from your car? Let's look at removing damaged spark plugs and fitting new ones. Pull the lever to open the engine bay located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it in place. Locate the coils covering the spark plug: grasp it with your hands and twist to remove it from the cylinder head. Use a socket wrench to unscrew the spark plugs (remove them from the cylinder head). Once removed, take the new spark plug and insert it into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Test the engine operation.
