In this brief guide, we will understand the main steps that will help us in the process of dismantling the Comex gearbox from the Aixam 50, as well as from most Microcars. First, lift the vehicle with axle stands and start by removing the front wheels; disconnect the braking system and the front driveshaft from the gearbox, as shown in the video. At this point, unscrew all the fastening screws of the gearbox to lower and remove it; for reassembly of the gearbox, simply apply the reverse procedure!
