To replace the car antenna with a shark fin antenna, first unscrew the old antenna from your vehicle. Clean the bodywork around the base of the old antenna with a damp cloth and screw the receiver cable of the new shark fin antenna to it. Now position the shark fin antenna, which will be secured with adhesive tape, usually provided with the replacement. Hold the antenna lightly until the adhesive tape adheres to the bodywork, ensuring a secure fit.
