How to replace the gear lever in a car?

In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the bushes of the gear lever in a car by following a few simple steps that will guide you in managing your vehicle correctly. Sometimes, the gear lever may not function properly and cannot be repaired; therefore, it needs to be replaced with a new one. This procedure can be done independently. First, remove the inspection cover located in front of the lever. Next, lift the rubber gaiter at the base of the lever and push down on the metal piece underneath the gaiter. While pressing the piece, also turn it clockwise, and it will come out. Along with the metal piece, the gear lever will also be removed. Simply fit the new one and reassemble everything.
